Curious how everyone feels about the new playlists for July? We're trying to expand the sound, but keep it still a very independent, unique voice.

I really don't want loudcrowd to stray too far from where it is right now... I come to this site every day so I can be introduced to more electro and indie. If we're going to have different genres, I would really love different dance "rooms" (maybe sorted by genre) because the last thing I want is to randomly be subjected to Good Charlotte or weird Swedish death metal with screeching people and dogs howling in the background. I come to loudcrowd to de-stress by listening to the genres I already love. I just don't want this to become a DDR or Guitar Hero clone.

I don't see why you wouldn't like the idea. There are ways to mix music types and make it more enjoyable for other people as well. Plus this might introduce people to music they aren't familiar with. :)

I think it should remain Electro and Indie. That's what this site is all about. I don't want to dance to hardcore or metal. I don't like this idea at all.

We're adding more tracks constantly and that will hopefully include danceable tracks from all musical genres.
